My brother offered me a ride to the airport as he was around town area. Appreciate the little things he does for me and the family. BZ and RZ also walked me to the bus stop. *So sweet*
The plane ride was a smooth one as compared to the one in August. In fact it felt really short as I only had time for a single movie (spent 7 hours from SG to HK in Aug). And I’m thankful for it.
I kind of rushed to get the Mango juice while we were waiting for our bus. It has been 4 long months since I had the chance to taste it again. Aww…
When we walked out of the airport at 6pm, it was almost pitch dark. We had to constantly condition ourselves that it was early evening as it looked as though it was 9 – 10pm in SG.
We were zoomed to the Hollywood Hotel (4* Disney Hotel). Guess we were really looking forward to it. The counter staff processed our check in rather quickly. We were upgraded to the (insert name) where we’d be able to view the fireworks from the comfort of the room. What’s more we were able to tune in to the sights and sounds by tuning in to one of the TV channels to enhance the viewing experience. Its way cool! Here is a peek into the room and deco.
TV for tuning in to Fireworks!
Est and I thought that the hotel is not “Disney” enough. But we still thought that the live experience would probably be more entertaining so we caught the shuttle and headed to the Park. It was nicely dressed up in Xmas theme and one couldn’t miss out on the gigantic Xmas tree.
The fireworks display is the exact replicate of what I’ve seen in August. The only difference is that we are viewing this in the cool refreshing weather.
We also had some time to check out Disneyland Hotel (5* Disney Hotel). The overall feel of the place is that it is brighter and definitely has a more classic feel. In fact, it may be hard to tell that it’s a Disney themed hotel if not for the Disney characters in the main hall.
